Advan Research collects and manually verifies all the individual DoubleTree by Hilton locations worldwide, on a point-in-time basis. These detailed locations, also called Points Of Interest or POIs, are then used by Advan to compute how many mobile phones have visited the locations. Advan computes cellphone traffic using a dataset of more than 320 million cellphones observed with a second-level time accuracy and 10 meter location accuracy, since 2015.
